Oldest on Earth Shoes

Approximately 5500 years ago someone in the mountains of Armenia have been wearing footwear which is now the oldest leather shoes ever found on earth.
Footwear is well maintained it is made from one part of the
leather, which tied a rope front and back, according to researchers who reported in the Public Library of Science journal PLoS One.
Shoe for right foot was found in a cave along with other evidence of human occupation. Shoes were filled with grass, which originated from the same period with the leather-between 5637 and 5387 years ago.
"This is a great fortune," said Ron Pinhasi archaeologist from University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, which led the research team. "We usually just find the pot is broken, but we have little information about the daily activities of ancient people"
"What do they eat? What are they doing? What are they wearing? This is an opportunity to know and give us a real glimpse of the community, "he said. Previously, the oldest leather shoes found in Europe or Asia is stuck in Otzi "ice man" found in the famous frozen in the Alps a few years ago and is now preserved in Italy.
Otzi lived 5375 and 5128 years ago, a few hundred years newer than the shoe of Armenia. Otzi shoes made of deer and bear skins held together with leather straps. Shoes Armenia appeared to be made from cowhide, Pinhasi said.
Ancient sandal found in a cave in Missouri, but is made of fiber, not the
leather.
